Why is my period late

About this site

When a period is late, you want a clear answer without being asked to create an account or hand over your health data. That’s what this site is for.

What we believe

  • Privacy comes first. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to share it, and the site is built so that we never receive it.
  • Honesty beats false precision. You get date ranges rather than a single confident date, and no made-up probabilities.
  • Knowing when to get help matters most. Every tool says plainly when something shouldn’t wait.

How the content is written

Guides and tools are based on published health information, mainly from the NHS, Cleveland Clinic and clinical references. Each page lists its sources so that you can check them. We update a page’s date when it changes.

This content hasn’t yet been individually reviewed by a clinician. We say so because you deserve to know, and we won’t claim otherwise until it’s true.

What this site isn’t

This is general information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It can’t replace a healthcare professional, and its predictions must not be used as contraception. If you’re worried about your health, please speak to a doctor, nurse or pharmacist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

How it’s funded

The site is free, and ads from Google AdSense on most pages pay for it. Advertisers have no say in what we write. The tracker and the photo check, where you log health data, have no ads. There are no paid features or sponsored recommendations, and our product guides don’t recommend any brand.
